Hello! Here are some mints! I know, this should be a Cutest Characters update and it’s coming! Honest! But in the meantime, here is something else that’s cute, a teeny mini Frisk phone strap! Do you know what the shop assistant said when I got this in 7/11? She said “Kawaii!!” Of course she did! ‘Cause it is! It’s so small. I sure do love tiny miniature versions of things :)

And now I feel like posting something a little happier. Silly but, happy. It’s a little comic strip I drew about a pudding in the desert :)

More Halloween cutenesses!
Spent a large part of today shopping for Halloween stuff in Daiso in Nagoya. I can’t believe how long it took me to figure out there even WAS a Daiso in this building. It’s a 100yen store in case you’re wondering. Well, mostly 100yen, some items are a little more. I love 100yen shops, they’re amazing. Seriously, they sell such nice stuff! Seria is still my favourite I think but…Daiso is awesome!
Anyway, these little cakes are from another shop entirely: Apita!
The ghost one was filled with red bean paste and the pumpkin one with pumpkin paste! Mmmm…

OK, so I’ve always thought sunglasses are pretty cool but I’ve never had much luck with them. I usually get too scared to wear the more outrageous ones and end up with boring ones that I can’t even be bothered wearing and so I squint my way through the summer, wishing I could find sunglasses that suited me. No more! OK, last year, right before Summer Sonic, I found a really awesome, red, horn rimmed, diamante studded pair in Thank You Mart (390 Yen, yay!) but this year I’ve found an even better pair! I got them in Uniqlo and I love them!
I love them so much I don’t care what anyone thinks. hooray!

I’ve wanted to buy a discman for ages. I buy quite a lot of CDs and it’s too much effort for lazy me to copy them to my mp3 player. Or maybe this is just an excuse. Much as I like records, I grew up buying CDs so…all my music nostalgia is wrapped up in disc format. I love my mp3 player, I really do but I also love buying CDs and staring at the album art and (hopefully) reading the lyrics. And in Japan of course there’s the added fun of extra tracks, lyric sheets in Japanese and in the case of the Alisha’s Attic CD I just bought (I am lame, I know), the artwork translated into Japanese!
So in order to let me do all of this stuff again, I bought a nice pink discman in Bic Camera. It’s already great. I’ve spent the last hour and a half listening to CDs I’ve picked up and forgotten to listen to. Here are some not terribly good photos of some of them:
The Miki Imai album is very…adult contemporary…listening to it made me feel very, safe! The ACO album is heartbreakingly beautiful…it makes me want to cry a little and the Alisha’s Attic album is similar to Alisha Rules the World so it reminded me of being twelve and made me happy! Wow, definitely an amazing purchase!
