Yes, yes this should have been posted yesterday BUT I fell asleep! I’m sorry! It was hot and it made me sleepy. Like a cat. Sooo, here are some cute snacks!
The bottle cap was on a bottle of mugi cha (barley tea), haven’t tried the Kit Kat yet. Why the ‘bitter’ trend? Bitter chocolate/caramel frappucinos at Starbucks, non-sweet Pepsi..? OK, the bitter chocolate frappucino is yummy. Can’t comment on the Pepsi, I don’t like Pepsi much! You know what is yummy? Easter Party ice cream! I haven’t been to Baskin Robbins since April and they still have this ice cream. So I bought some, yay! I think I like it ’cause it looks like the product of some deranged, sugar-crazed child’s imagination ;P

Time for some new Kit Kats! Most of them pretty daunting really! I haven’t managed to try the cheese ones yet cause, I mean, EW! I think it’s hilarious that they come in boxes with pictures of golden locks and keys. Are they saying they’re a special, luxury treat? They’re even yellow!! Are they supposed to replace cheese? Why do they exist?? Aaaaahhhh!!
As for the others, Semi Sweet, I haven’t tried. Isn’t the point of Kit Kats that they ARE sweet? Cola and Lemonade is probably ick, especially considering how I felt about the Ramune flavoured ones. Got the melon and corn ones in Hokkaido and only recently tried them. They weren’t as bad as I thought they’d be but I was pretty drunk at the time so maybe I was overly enthusiastic…
Anyway, here are some pictures so you can imagine the deliciousness!

I love Japanese Halloween goods! I can barely resist buying anything with a cute pumpkin/ghost/witch on it… I recently tried one of Baskin and Robbins new Halloween ice creams but I didn’t manage to get a photo, I was carrying too much stuff!! It had mini orange chocolate pumpkins in it! I’ll try to get another one and take a photo. I want to try all four…and the Halloween sundae! Anyway, moving on to things I HAVE taken photos of, here are some Halloween treats:
Cute! And spooky. Mostly just cute though!

Time for more sweets!
There was recently a range of Neon Genesis Evangelion products at Lawson. The Evangelion characters are used to sell EVERYTHING. Especially pachinko!? This time round you could buy Evangelion coffee, crisps, ramen and antibacterial wipes! There was also a leaflet featuring Asuka standing outside Lawson..I picked up a few, I’ll take a photo later! Now it’s Kitty’s turn however. We popped in today but there were no phone straps featuring Kitty in a Lawson uniform! Disappointed! 7/11 had straps with her in one of their uniforms, why Lawson, why?? They didn’t even have the apple cake I’d gone in to buy *sob!*
Other than that, this weekend I have mostly been shopping. I’ll post some photos of the awesome things I’ve bought later!

Here are some new/new-ish snacks. Some are nice but some…oh dear…
I’m terribly guilty of buying things ’cause they’re cute regardless of what I think they’ll taste like…!

I’m pretty fond of things that are the same but different. Like, dolls that are all almost exactly the same but with different hair colours. Or the same album with the same cover on CD, LP and cassette. I love having multiple variations of the same thing. So..Kit Kats in Japan are a dream!
